FIDSA or International Forum on Investment and Dispute Settlement in the AfCFTA is a collaborative
platform where key stakeholders, including governments, the private sector, civil society, and
professional and academic experts, can discuss the issues, opportunities, and challenges related to
the successful implementation of the AfCFTA in investment and dispute settlement related to
investment and trade in AfCFTA. It aims to catalyze constructive collaboration, generate innovative
ideas, and inspire concrete actions to maximize the economic benefits of this continental initiative.
The objective is therefore to promote understanding of the AfCFTA, Facilitate Cross-Sectoral
Dialogue, Analyze Challenges and Propose Solutions, Promote Innovation and Digital Transformation,
Engage Youth and Women in the Investment and Trade Dispute Resolution Process in the AfCFTA.
