Criteria for selection of candidates by the jury

The jury will carry out a double deliberation. The first, based on study of candidate files, will allow a preliminary pre-selection. Then, the second deliberation will make it possible to designate the winning candidate in each category. Each member of the jury signs in advance a Privacy Policy. The deliberations will be carried out in complete transparency according to the following criteria:

  • The progress of the company (over the past year, 2023)
  • The quantity and quality of achievements (over the past year)
  • Socio-economic impact, environmental protection and compliance with sustainable development requirements
  • Innovation
  • Number of countries where the company is present
  • Share of total revenues earned in Africa
  • Company strategy to create long-term added value.

Other tips:
A strong, well-written application is strong and attracts the attention of the jury members. Consider these important points when filling out a nomination form:

  • The entrepreneur: share your achievements as founder or manager of the company, the successes of the entire company and the team that supported you in your journey.
  • Be concise and thorough
  • Demonstrate results: make sure your achievements are measurable, quantify and describe business growth by presenting specific numbers, percentages and statistics.
  • By planning and preparing everything carefully, you will send your application on time.
